Effective communication skills are learned. They are not innate. When in collaboration with others, people at successful B Corps build strong and lasting business relationships, create undiscovered value, and set in place contingencies to safeguard the long term success of a project. Unskillful communication can damage relationships, give away value by failing to walk away from the negotiating table when appropriate, or by agreeing to terms doomed to fail.
This course presents the core skills and frameworks needed to understand the dynamics of collaborative negotiation. The class gives participants the tools needed to prepare for and conduct successful negotiations. Participants will directly apply their learning to their own real world scenarios.
